The new location in Logan

West Side Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Logan is moving. It’s time to move to a little bigger space. We’ve outgrown the space were in now—it was pretty small. Moving is both exciting and dreadful at the same time. Today, Juan Santa Cruz, Kevin Hancey and I worked on the converted mechanics shop. The place has a good spirit.

We had a good omen for the place, a 7 month old pit bull puppy wondered in today looking for some belly rubs. Five minutes later animal control slowly drove by. We hid the dog—it was the least we could do. She hung out and tried to drink some paint and then disappeared after a bowl full of cold water. I’ll take it as a sign—a fight school visited by a fighting dog—that has to be good Karma.
